Welcome to Willits

A gateway to the Emerald Triangle, a legendary cannabis cultivation region, Willits is a small town situated along Highway 101, about 140 miles north of San Francisco.

The Mendo Cup is held in the Willits Grange, an old schoolhouse that we are so grateful to call home. Find it at 291 School St. in Willits.

We recommend checking the Visit Mendocino website for local lodging options. Willits is quite small but Ukiah is nearby and has even more options for hotels and restaurants. We have a list of recommended places to stay, eat and explore below on this page as well.

Who We Are

Our Ethos & Values

The Mendo Cup elevates the county’s remaining craft farmers, and celebrates our unique

Mendocino culture while building awareness for all the region has to offer, including best-in-class cannabis. This is also the only Cup that shares profit with farmers. We are truly a Cup by and for the Community.

The Mendo Cup is a one of a kind hyper local competition, featuring flowers from a limited number of licensed small farms that embrace fine organic craftsmanship and sustainable methods.

This event is a deep dive on terroir. Cannabis connoisseurs can really experience and appreciate how this award winning Emerald Triangle region’s weather patterns, soil, and other environmental elements affect the final taste of these varieties.
